Bulkmat
The BulkMat is a concrete filled woven polypropylene fabric mat designed to protect and provide tension across the top of pipelines. The BulkMat contains 4 or 8 sewn fabric compartments filled with dry sand/cement mix. Once hardened, the BulkMat will conform to the contour of the pipe and substrate.

SPECIFICATIONS
- Woven polypropylene fabric: 8.5 oz., 400 lbs. tensile strength, UV resistant
- 10’ lifting loops: 8,000 lbs. tensile strength, polyester, 2” wide webbing
- Concrete mix: pre-blended 3:1 sand/cement ratio
- Cathodic and protective coating: The BulkMat will not damage protective coatings or interfere with cathodic protection
- Resistance to salt water environment: Inert
- Biodegradeable: Inert
The BulkMat is placed on a pallet for convenient storage and shipping. One 8 compartment or two 4 compartment BulkMats can be shipped on each pallet.
Four lifting loops allow easy and accurate placement of the Bulk Mat.
The BulkMat’s concrete filled chambers harden and conform to ocean, lake and
river bed floors.
